Grass Notes is currently on furlough with members attending Grad school.  Hopefully we’ll be back soon,

In the mean time,  Larry and Jerry, along with Bryan Shoemaker (their son), and Tom Mundheim are performing as BITTER CREEK BAND. 

Larry Shoemaker, on banjo and guitar, sings harmony and some lead. He played in several bands, including a stint in a New England bluegrass band. He’s the proud dad of Bryan, and husband of Jerry.

Jerry Shoemaker plays the big bass fiddle.  She is Bryan’s  mom  and  works hard to keep the band in order.  You can’t help but watch her gettin’ down when she is playing that bass. You will love watching and hearing her on stage.

Bryan Shoemaker plays amazing mandolin. He has performed with several bands beginning when he was 12 years old. Larry and Jerry are his proud parents. 

Tom Mundheim plays guitar and sings lead. He and Larry and Jerry have been picking together for more than 40 years.
